Councilwoman, District 4

Jana serves as the Vice Chairwoman of the Memphis City Council, in addition to holding leadership roles as Chair of the Planning & Zoning Committee and Vice Chair of the Executive Committee. She is also the Council liaison to the Renasant Convention Center, First 8 Memphis, and the Film/TV Commission.

Michael serves as the Tennessee Director of Leadership for Educational Equity, empowering teachers to strengthen their civic engagement and leadership. Previously, he founded and led Memphis College Prep. He is also involved in local organizations such as Shelby Farms Park, the Downtown Memphis Commission, and Let’s Innovate Through Education (LITE).
