All are welcome to Glenview Community Center for our November General Meeting. We will be electing our President and Treasurer for a two year term.
Join us for our annual National Night Out Against Crime at Rozelle-Annesdale Park at Rozelle and Nelson. We will be serving beef hotdogs and smoked sausages as well as chips and cookies.
Join us at Glenview Community Center for our October General Meeting and a MLGW Energy Smart Workshop. You must stay until the end of the meeting to receive the free items.

A mixed use development is being planned on the property on Lamar between Willett and Roland. Partners Eduardo Sanchez Borja and Jorge De Ochoa Jr. will share their plans with the community. We will meet at Life of Liberty Church, 749 Tate Ave., August 9th at 5pm.

Rozelle-Annesdale Area Association will hold a Memorial Day Service Monday, May 31, 2021 at Rozelle-Annesdale Park at the corner of Nelson and Rozelle. We will begin at 12 noon. Please bring pictures of your love ones that you wish to honor. There will be a BBQ luncheon after the service.
We will be meeting outdoors at the Tire Garden, 1032 S. Willett at 5pm.
Three applications for new houses will be on the agenda.

Volunteers please arrive at 8:30am to prepare the food boxes. We will have boxes for 300 people.
Wear a mask, bring your lawn chairs, and come to Rozelle-Annesdale Park at Rozelle and Nelson for our December General Meeting. Every December we elect officers for the Rozelle-Annesdale Area Association. To keep continuity on the board we alternate elections of President and Treasurer with Vice President and Secretary. Officers serve a two year term. This year the board positions of Vice President and Secretary are up for election. Each household membership is entitled to one vote. Household members often join separately so they have their own vote. Stephanie Hill has been nominated for Vice President and Emily Bishop for Secretary. Nominations will also be acceped from the floor.
Wear your mask and come to Walker and Willett for our November General Meeting. We will be discussing nominations for our upcoming elections for Vice President and Secretary. We will also be discussing future plans for the Tire Garden and insurance requirements and expense. If it rains we will meet at Rozelle Annesdale Park at the gazebo.
Join us at the corner of Walker and Willett for the first in a series of free outdoor movies.. Chairs will be provided for the first 30 people. Food will be available for purchase from a local food truck. The Greatest Showman starring Hugh Jackman is the first film.

Guest Speaker JW Gibson, of the Southeast Regional Development Corporation, will talk about his application for a TIF that would included Rozelle-Annesdale. TIF stands for Tax Increment Financing. It is a public financing method that is used as a subsidy for redevelopment, infrastructure, and other community improvement projects.
Councilwoman Swearengen will be our guest speaker.
Happy New Year! It’s time to renew your membership. Each paid membership at the January meeting will be in a drawing for a $50 Outback gift card.
Guest Speaker: Marcha E. Allen, from the Division of Parks & Neighborhoods, will give a presentation about the parks master plan. The last parks master plan was done in 1999. Getting honest input from the public is needed to have a successful plan.
Due to a power outage we had to cancel the meeting at Otherlands Coffee Bar. The meeting has been rescheduled for Monday November 18th at Rozelle School. Principal Shaw will be our guest speaker.
Our November 11th General Meeting will be held at Otherlands Coffee Bar at 641 S. Cooper St,. 6-7pm.
The first 15 members to the meeting will get up to $3 off a food or beverage purchase.
The Church of the Living God has moved out of the our neighborhood so we will no longer be able to hold our monthly meetings at the church. We are sad to see them leave and wish them success in their new location.
Rozelle School has agreed to let us meet there beginning in December. The school is closed for Veterans Day on November 11th.
Our December 9th Annual Meeting and Holiday Potluck will be 6-7pm at Rozelle School.
Come to Rozelle Annesdale Park at Rozelle and Nelson and enjoy free food and games! We will serve BBQ, slaw, hotdogs, pasta salad, fruit salad, and dessert. There will be a water slide and corn hole in addition to the playground to play on. Our police and firefighters will be stopping by and this is a great opportunity to meet and thank them for protecting our neighborhood.

Your $20 household membership entitles you to food and beverages for two adults. For $10 each, additional adults from the household can attend. Come and enjoy fried catfish, french fries, cole slaw, rolls, spaghetti, pasta salad, fruit salad, and drinks.

We will discuss fundraising for 2019 projects. At the February meeting three projects were chosen to focus on: Painting over the zombie mural on Lamar with the RAHD logo; improvements to the Tire Garden; and painting the addresses on the curb of every house in the neighborhood.
We will discuss what new projects the association will work on in 2019 and prioritize those based on residents feedback.
Our next meeting is Monday January 14th at 6pm
